Best times of the year to view platypus are August - October (breeding season), December- March (wet season) is the least likely chance to spot them due high and heavy rain fall.

Wallaman Falls Day Tour - Pick up and return TSV
Join us for the Wallaman Falls Day Tour, departing from Townsville and returning for an unforgettable experience at Australia’s tallest single-drop waterfall, set amidst stunning rainforest. Your adventure begins the moment you step onto our bus, where our ECO-certified guide will provide insightful commentary about the history and landscape of the beautiful sugarcane countryside you’ll travel through.
Please note that the hike to the base of the waterfall requires a good level of fitness, as it involves a descent through rugged terrain. While swimming is not permitted at Wallaman Falls, witnessing this magnificent landmark is an awe-inspiring experience that you won’t want to miss.
