Hidden Valley Cabins is an award winning eco resort, we are Australia's 1st carbon neutral resort and tour company and operate on 100% solar power.

We are located one and half hours northwest of Townsville, near running river on the western slope of the Paluma range in Queensland, Australia. The area is abundant with varying species of birds, butterflies, wallabies, Lace Monitors, PLATYPUS and nocturnal animals such as gliders.

Hidden Valley Cabins runs daily tours from the resort, including a Platypus Tour, Nocturnal Walk and a 1/2 day Hiking Tour exploring the mighty Running River Gorge.

Due to the mountains elevation the climate is cooler and less humid than areas close to the coast. It is the perfect temperature all year round.

Hidden Valley Cabins is also the first Carbon Neutral Resort in Australia and now operate on 100% solar power, with the help of our friends at Climate Friendly we purchased carbon credits to off set the green house gases we omit into the atmosphere and are now CLIMATE NEUTRAL.
